The Board of Directors for the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada, contribute their time, energy, enthusiasm and co-ordination efforts to a variety of on-going tasks; acquiring and disseminating information from each of their regions and their respective members, to members; providing knowledge, resources and input for Club activities and its members; identifying, discussing and resolving issues as they arise and pertain to the Alaskan Malamute, it's Club or its members.

Biography: I have been breeding Alaskan Malamutes for over 20 years under the prefix "Shelaskan". Over the years my experience with Malamutes has grown and they continue to teach me each and every day. My first Malamute Nanook taught me alot about the breed, we enjoyed doing things like conformation, obedience and therapy work. My goal as Vice President is to help build a club for all malamute owners and fanciers to enjoy as well as to educate and guide people in discovering if a Malamute is the right breed for them.

Biography: I can never remember a time when dogs were
not a part of my life. Malamutes became a part of my family in the 70’s
and Pyrenees in the early 80’s. I have been a member of AMCA since the early
80’s I have always breed under the name Skeenawhip which is a tribute to
the first Mal I owned. Without her I may have been involved with another
breed.

Biography: Inharmony's breeding program began in 1976
with the importation of Can. Ch. Windy City's Sparkling Jewel CD. In 1983,
the kennel name changed from Sparkling to Inharmony. Ruth is a member of
the Canadian Kennel Club, Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada, and member and
secretary of the Cariboo Kennel Club. In 1997. Ruth was honored by the AMCC
as being the Member of the Year thanks to her contribution of writing educational
and training articles for the Malamute Review.
CAM Statistician: Cheryl Paterson
Biography: First became involved with Malamutes in 1990. In addition to confirmation, we have worked out dogs in weight pull, back packing and obedience. I am now a judge licensed by the Canadian Kennel Club. I am eligible to judge the entire Working and Herding groups.
Specialties and Booster Coordinator: Annette Milburn
Biography: I have been involved in Alaskan Malamutes since 1992, and our very first malamute went onto be the #1 malamute BIS Can. Am. Int Ch Tonoya's Sir Lancelots's Niko. And our last malamute that we showed, Multi BIS BISS Can Am Grand Ch Mytuk's The Ring Master CGN, broke the record and is now the highest ranking Alaskan Malamute in Canadian History!
