Compumedia, what is it? Basically it is the fusion of music teaching, video cameras and computers to individualize instruction. At Bedford Road Collegiate we have created a system of many possibilities, a multimedia learning environment in our music area. We have also invested in software to teach students both the visual and musical aspects of multimedia.

In these pages you will find the story of our small, almost accidental creation, our two National Awards , the Reader's Digest Leadership in Education Award - Check September issue 1995, p.141, and the Hilroy Fellowship Award for Innovation in Education - Check Innovations in Education Resource Manual published by the Canadian Teacher's Federation.
