    New Camp Office
    built by Apollo Bellisle

The Anglin Lake Semi-Wilderness Camp is located in an ideally secluded spot on the northeast shore of Anglin Lake, just 62km north of Prince Albert on Highway #2. The camp was founded and built in 1961-1962 by the Service Corps to provide a place for the Scouting youth of the province to hone their outdoor skills in a controlled setting. No matter what the skill level of the youth or the leader, Anglin still remains a place where groups can advance their skills, or start with the basics.

The Saskatchewan Service Corps invites your group to put the "out" back in Scouting. The site is excellent for rustic camping for Cub, Scout, Venturer and Rover groups, although there are permanent latrines and drinking water taps located conveniently around the site.

For the not-so-hearty, there is also a main lodge in one area of the camp which can serve as a mess hall and meeting area.

We have five sub-camps located around the lake at the tower sites, perfect for overnight camps. These sites are accessible only by foot or water.

    Canoe Instruction Session

The camp is staffed by the Service Corps, a group of young men and women trained to provide camp program, maintenance and handle any emergencies that may arise. The Service Corps aims to make your stay an interesting, progressive and worthwhile experience.

Come self contained. Each group is responsible for their own food, camping equipment and transportation, as well as providing a responsible adult leader to be in charge of the group. Groups can expect to hike their gear to their site, as no vehicles are allowed in the camp area for insurance and safety reasons. For groups in need of equipment, the camp does have four complete sets of patrol equipment and a quantity of canvas tents available at the site on an advance booking basis.
