Members of the Scouting community and of the General Public who have dedicated time and effort towards the Service Corps, or assisted the Corps beyond the call of good citizen, are given the title of Honorary Alumni or Honorary Lifetime Member. This honour is not given out liberally, and those who receive it have shown ongoing dedication and commitment to the Saskatchewan Service Corps through good and bad, day and night, over an extended period of time. Without these people, the Saskatchewan Service Corps would not be what it is today. It is our pleasure to consider the following people honorary members of our organization.

While attending a qualifying test at a target range, a fellow participant accidentally shot himself in the leg. When the bullet struck the concrete floor it splintered, injuring Nick and the Range Master. Without hesitation, Nick immediately provided proper first aid to the gunshot victim, and kept the man calm and comfortable until the Paramedics arrived, before taking care of his own injury.

While returning to the Anglin Lake Camp, these Corps members were following a family towing a camper trailer and a boat trailer. The boat trailer suspension literally fell apart while travelling around a blind corner on a narrow secondary highway, almost causing an accident. After checking to make sure everyone was ok, the Corps members cleared the debris from the highway and kept the family comfortable while they devised a way of towing the disabled trailer to an open stretch of highway where they controlled traffic to prevent a further accident until the tow truck arrived several hours later.Medal for Good Service
